Under Contract

Well things have been moving faster than I thought they would... but after looking extensively at the available condos/townhomes in the Northern Colorado area, I found one that I liked and put an offer on it yesterday. The offer was approved today, so I am currently 'under contract'. WHEW! all the stuff that goes into buying property is EXHAUSTING! I am scheduled to close on June 30th, so that is EXCITING =) It will be nice to move closer to work (I'll only be about 5 miles away). And I'll be really close to shopping, which reminds me...

I have found good NY style pizza OUTSIDE of NY. If you are in Greeley, you'll have to try Abo's Pizza. It was pretty darn good! The crust was nice and thin. The italian sausage topping tasted like the sausage I grew up eating in NY... the slice was HUGE (not some little wannabee Papa John's slice)... Anyway I'll be sure to take visitors there if they are in the mood for a slice =)

Happy Birthday to Me!

Well today I made it to 30. I remember when I thought 30 years old was ancient... I certainly don't feel ancient right now, but it is weird to think I have reached a new decade of life... the 20s went by so quickly! It was like yesterday that I went out with a few friends to TGI Fridays on my 21st birthday only to order a Mudslide and NOT get carded hahaha. A lot happened in my 20s. I earned three degrees from three different schools. I bought my first car (which i am still driving). I became a blackbelt in taekwondo. I gained a brother-in-laww. I lost my tonsils. I lived in four different states... Here's hoping the 30s are a good decade for me!

Who needs the Zoo?

I've got plenty of wildlife in my own back yard. Here's a pic of some storks in the water- yeah STORKS. They are really big birds! And... a pic of a fox. I was sitting in my apt watching TV when I saw this fellow run right by my window. I grabbed my camera and snagged a pic of his backside. It's so weird to see stuff like that!
