Feeling hot hot HOT!

Ok for the past two weeks northern Colorado has had some unseasonably high temps. Having moved from Memphis, the heat hasn't been bothering me too much since without humidity it isn't nearly as bad (though I must admit if you are in the sun for an extended period of time it WILL get to you with such high elevations). However, today takes the cake... we have gone from 90s into triple digits folks. 102. That's friggin ridiculous! What is crazy though is I don't have my AC running, and I'm fine. Gotta love my NORTH facing unit, always gets INDIRECT sunlight... won't be that way when I move.

Killing Trees

Today I got my bound copy of my dissertation. woohoo! That will be a fun addition to my office.

Ok, so I have decided that the real estate market is the reason why we are having a problem with tearing down the rain forests... so much PAPER! Appraisals, inspections, contracts, applications... ack! paper paper paper... I think I am going to need to buy a filing cabinet just for paperwork related to buying the condo. Anyway, things still seem to be on schedule for a June 30th close, so I'll keep y'all posted.

Lynne and Dan are scheduled to be in CO for the close, so they may get to be the first people to see the place =) I'm looking forward to their visit, I bet we'll do tons of fun things and eat lots of great food.

Other than being busy getting things done for the condo purchase, not much else going on... just same ol' same ol'.
