Winter Wonderland

Oh the weather outside is frightful... but the fire is so delightful...

You better believe I was taking advantage of my fireplace last night. A cold front and some wintery weather has swept through the northern Colorado region dumping a few inches of snow and making the roads a slick icy mess. There were 50-60 accidents reported last night, that doesn't surprise me at all (my poor Saturn went slipping and sliding two or three times). I will be leaving work early today to get home before the sun goes down, because tonight's low is supposed to be -1 degrees, so there is sure to be plenty of ice on the roads. Oh well, despite the nasty roads, all the pretty white stuff makes the area look like a winter wonderland. Here's a pretty picture to give you a taste...
